Bacteria. Similar or Different?

  Project Plan
There are many types of bacteria, and they are in any place that you can think of. Bacteria are one of the smallest organisms, yet they influence our lives greatly. Throughout history there have been countless times when a type of bacteria broke out and wiped out villages. Now days we don't see that very often, but we still do get sick. We also get sudden outbreaks of bacteria that contaminated our food and/or our drinking water supply. In our modern times we use antibiotics to fight back to those outbreaks of bacteria. But, is all bacteria the same? Would the effects of one antibiotic be similar or different on different bacteria? In this project I will be testing the differences of effectiveness of antibiotics between three common bacteria, Salmonella, E. coli, and S. epidermidis. I will also be using several different antibiotics in order to get a more broad and accurate reading for these two answers.
